Default what spark plug gap for H/C setup

I am currently doing h/c setup. Is the spark plug gap the same as before (.050)? Thanks.

What type of plugs? Do you want to run nitrous with your new setup?

I went one range colder as recommended by NGK but switched to Denso Iridiums based on recommendations from Katech. I left them at 0.044" gap.

What heads, be aware that some of the LS1 heads have switched from a tapered plug seat to a gasketed one. Dart has done this.

Before h/c cam, I was using NGK TR-55's with .050 gap. The heads are 2.5 stage PRC ls6. Cam is TSP V2 torquer. I would like to use the same spark plugs. Thanks

If you don't plan on running nitrous those plat NGK's will be fine at .050. If you go power adder in the future get one step colder and gap at about .036. I don't know how scientific these values are but that is what is typically ran by most people on the boards and what I have ran for 6+ years on my ls1's that have performed pretty good.
