Redline MTL. You should redline to the poll. I bet a lot of people use it.

I didn't vote, because I don't have a preference. I just put in RP to see if it smoothed out the shifts any, and I can't tell any difference.

After some thought I decided to use Redline D4 ATF instead of Redline MTL. My only rationale was that GM specifies an ATF fluid to be used in the manual transmission (mine happens to be a M12 instead of an MN6 but I don't think that matters at all) so I decided to use Redline's D4 ATF instead of what they market as being specifically for manual transmissions. I felt like this was consistent with what the manufacturer was recommending yet at the same time was superior to the OEM fluid. Oh, and FWIW, I did this change well over a year ago and I can't notice any difference (not that I even wanted or cared to) in the way the car shifts.

Redline MTL but on my other car. Actually the Redline saved me from selling it because it made the shifter so much smoother and easier to engage..
C-6 will keep it GM.

I've asked the tuner who is doing my 402 right now to change the trans and diff fluid with Royal Purple. Hint, hint Phil.

I have been running the Mobil 1 for the past few years with no problems but I am getting ready to give the Redline a try. They're all good.

For some reason I think my last transmission had GM synchromesh in it and shifted like a dream.

I love Redline. It should be on the list.

For the Vette, I have Mobil 1 just to keep everything consistent. I keep everything Mobil 1 for the C5, Redline for the other car (including Water Wetter which I now use on the Vette).

Another vote for RP.Took the RP out and put Mobil 1 in. After a week the M1 came out and the RP went back in. Haven't regretted the change. YMMV

I use AmsOil synthetic transmission fluid in all my transmissions/gearboxes that call for automatic transmission fluid, including my '85 4+3 overdrive unit. No problems after years of use.
