If you're running a larger cam you will most likely want to stay with the 1.7 (stock) ratio. Just curious - what made you decide to go with the Harland Sharp rockers? You may want to opt to have Harland Sharp convert your stock rockers for $250. I've been very happy with the results. Contact Nate at Nasty Performance (847) 458-4858.

Don't go with hardland rockers. A couple months back i was looking for rockers called everyone for weight and nose weight. Hardland rep said i don't know but they are heavy. I didn't feel like buying jesel's for 1000 to 1300. Went with comp pro magnum rockers. Same weight at the nose as factory weight less than aluminum and stronger. Motor revs crazy fast now and the motor has less valvetrain noise. Got mine from Jason at texas speed performance.

if hardland say they will fit under factory the comps should also because you have a smaller rocker than the hardland because of the chromoly that the comps are made out of.

The Harlands are known to work on these heads per Brian Tooley, however I would think any adjustable rocker would work if correctly setup on the head. I am using the Cranes which are fully adjustable. The only thing with the adjustables, is I "think" that the pushrods come with the heads with a length for the Harlands (not sure on this) so with the adjustables you would need to measure for a new pushrod length.

I put a set of the Harland Sharp 1.7s on my AFR heads when I did the swap and they lasted < 100 miles. The #7 exhust rocker twisted off the connecting rod (to the intake rocker). I was breaking in the 921 springs at the time so never exceeded 2K rpm. Do a search on Harland Sharp; mine is not the only horror story out there for LSX applications. I am currently running the stock LS6 rockers and have no issues. My rev limiter is set to 7500 and the few times I have hit it the engine is still pulling. Just my 2 cents.

Sorry, to go a little off topic here, but are the Comp Cams Pro Magnum rockers shaft mount?
