Default 90mm LS2, FAST 90 and PCV fresh air line

The LS2 doesn't have a port on the throttle body to connect the PCV fresh air line to the valve cover like the stock LS6.

Where do you connect the PCV fresh air line when installing the FAST 90/LS2 90mm intake combo?

Thanks!

I'll be in the same boat soooon! From what I remember, they connect a small filter to it and call it a day.

I am in the process of doing this now. I have a fitting I got from Callaway (I have a Honker) that I plan to install in the coupling between the MAF and the TB and will run the hose to that. I don't like the filter idea as the air entering the motor through the PCV is unmetered by the MAF.

I put mine in air duct about 10" or 12" in front of the throttle body, go to a parts store and buy a 90 with a rubber grommet. It also helps with the oil getting sucked in to the intake. Hope this helps.

Agree, don't like the idea of using a filter either. What does the fitting look like that Callaway supplied?

I could put a fitting in the coupler between the TB and air bridge.....or find a fitting that I could mount in the air bridge....don't know.

I'm surprised no one has addressed this before.

Thanks for all the comments so far!

Do you have a photo of this part you bought?

Here it is, its made from aluminum. I haven't decided on which coupler I am going with yet, but I am going to use some 3M SMC bonding material to put it into the coupler. That's why I am interested in the rubber elbow mentioned above, might be just the ticket

Thanks Bob.

Does that go in the rubber coupler??

I went to Autozone this afternoon and couldn't find any 3/8" elbows or grommets that would work for this. Still searching.....

It is supposed to connect the hose from the valve cover that would normally go to the throttle body to air coupler. However, it is going to be aiming straight out from the couple so I am searching for a rubber elbow so it will aim back at the valve cover. Going to have to be careful of placement since the belt is right underneath. We're getting more snow tonight so I guess my work will again be delayed

I found it, the Holy Grail of hoses for connecting to the Callaway connection at Advance Auto. This hose has a 90 degree rubber elbow to a hard line. Cut the hard line and it "should" fit into the original line that goes to the original throttle body (note, haven't tried it yet on the hose).

Great work! I've got a Halltech TRAP and need one of those Callaway fittings. How much was it?

Sorry, went away for the weekend. It was $2, but shipping will bump it up a bit.

Mine is run up to the twin flow air cleaner.

A small fitting like the one shown from callaway is installed into the air cleaner housing. Then a hose runs along side the air coupler over the radiator and connects to the air cleaner housing.

Simple and effective. Only one part to buy and a short length of hose.

What's the part # for this callaway connector? Like to go online and purchase it this week for the same reason - FAST 90/LS2TB install. Thanks!

It's been awhile, but I think I wound up calling Callaway to get the part. Don't remember the part #. Mike
