Very close to my setup.

Custom Crower cam 238/246 .622/.609 112+4
DART 225 milled to 61cc
LS6 intake/PP TB
LG Pro Long Tubes
Vararam
LS2 stroker 408 cubic inches

With 3:42's Wheel spin is not an issue, but I rarely drag race.

Crower has their proprietary lobe designs and he basically fed my intake and head flow data into his computer program and it spit out a range of lobe choices allowing me to choose depending on my usage, and offered me 2 choices of lsa. It is a custom ground cam. Did he use all your flow data to come up with your cam?

This cam gave a very wide and flat torque curve which benefits road racing but sacrifices slightly on top end hp. My car dynoed at 480/480 but will increase about 20-30 more hp/tq with a better flowing bigger intake.

I for one am very happy with this cam. Are you?

dr chi;; is t5he oil cooler necessary for the track.
so far the oil temp was ok but I'm afraid it may a problem as the efficiency of the engine will drop and the heat will rise

I was seeing oil temps over 300 degrees before and I would have to take a couple of cool down laps. Now the highest I've hit during mid summer in FL is 276 no matter how long or hard I run.

276 is still a bit on the high side. 250-260s or lower would be better.

What oil are you running ? 15-w50?

some times the seperate oil cooler, put in front of the A/C condesor cools a bit better then the combo. Combos still work great, so there are several options.

Trans cooler ( left ) oil cooler ( right

I don't think those valve sizes will work with the stock bore.

Remember, this is south Florida. I use 15w-50. Dewitt makes a nice combo radiator/oil cooler ($620) with higher coolant capacity than stock radiator.
