Default Innova 3110 Tool

Anyone here use an Innova 3110 Tool? I am thinking of buying one since I now have several cars that are 1996+ models and my old OBD tool is obsolete.

I asked a similar question last week, but about the Actron CP9190. The Actron supposedly gives a live "data stream" readout, which is quite helpful. All of the cars in the family fleet are post '96, but getting a few years old. Repairs are probably in the future, and I like to be able to do my own work, so good diagnostic ability is important. Unfortunately, I didn't get any replies from anyone here on the forum about the Actron.

There's a store on Ebay that had the Actrons for $269 + $14.95 S&H, less a $50 rebate, so I ordered one a couple of days ago.

I picked one (3110) up from these folks last year and have found it very useful as well as reliable. (~$130)

http://www.midwayautosupply.com/pc-7...case-3110.aspx

I have noticed that with my C5 it does not show all of the codes that I can view with the DIC. It does show any code that will result in a CEL. I have used it on everything from an F-250 Diesel to a '98 Cadillac and it is well worth the expense.

It can also clear any CEL codes, at least temporarily...

Good luck... GUSTO

I picked up the Actron CP9180 from Advanced Auto parts for ~$130.00
it looks to be the same as the CP9190 without the case and the USB cable, but it is update able over the internet, and has the "live data stream" readout also.
