Default New Bests in C5 with MAF Translator

We added a MAF Translator to the '97 C5 A4 today and really woke the car up.
My previous best on true radials was a 12.51 @ 109.76. With just a couple of tuning passes, I was able to dial the car in to this:

60ft 1.70 (BFG G-Force 295/35/18 Radials)
1/8 7.78
1/8mph 88.24
1/4 12.24
1/4mph 110.84

Then we shot the TNT 150Hp wet kit to it and got our near best ET and best ever MPH:

Bests on the same radials
60ft 1.889
1/8 7.40
1/8mph 99.12
1/4 11.34
1/4mph 125.71

The TNT kit is amazing:) Traction was going away, so I had to launch soft and then hit the bottle in 2nd gear at about the 60ft mark.

Keep in mind, this is a completely stock internal, 54,000 mile engine. Mods as follows:

SY3500, 3.42 gears, Borla XR1 cat-back, Xpipe, Ram-Air, SLP 85mm MAF, MAF Translator, HPP3, 160 thermostat, TNT 150 nitrous kit.

Hope everyone else had a great weekend!

How did you get a 1.7 60ft on street tires? Do the BFG's hook that well? How long of a burn out did you do? What was your launch technique?

Makes me wish I had an automatic car. I could only imagine this car with a convertor and drag radials :)

I think it's mostly due to the Yank converter. The car has always 60ft'd well. Typically, it gets consistent 1.75-1.76 60fts. I just got lucky that pass.
I do a burnout to redline in first, shift to second, and roll out smoking the tires. Then I launch at 2400 and do what I call a "fast mash" on the throttle. It works most of the time.
FWIW, I had nearly identical 60ft's on the stock runcraps.

Hope that helps.
