Removing and replacing the hood on a C5
I'm about to do a heads/cam swap. I plan on removing the hood (heh). I've done this a couple times on Trans Ams, and it can be a PITA to realign the hood properly. How is it on a C5? Any tips?

I have had the hood off my car a number of times. The easiest is too leave the hinges attached to the hood. I used masking tape to mark the position of the hinges where they are bolted to the car.

It can be a MAJOR PITA. When I put on my Chrome Hindges it took about 2 hours to get everything align correctly. Since then I've had the hood off several time using a method similar to WGREEN suggest. Much simplier.
