Default Exhaust backfire and loss of power

Been having a problem with exhaust backfire/popping and loss of power under load when kicking my car to full throttle. Thought it was a valve or valve spring, vacuum leak, spark plugs and or wires.
Checked out outer valve springs and they seem to be o'kay. Compression test showed normal. Plugs look good and are not fouling.
This condition happens only under load condition. If I rev it up in park to 6000 rpm or more no backfire or popping. No vacuum leaks have been detected.
This all started in the spring of 2006 and has continued to worsen over the past year. Guys from DTS thought it could be the power H from the TPIS headers which have no clamps per their instructions, but DTS seemed to think that's where the backfire was comming from.
Using NGK T-55 gapped @ .046
Could it be coil pack, o2 sensor, fuel filter or regulator or MAF ect...?
Any info appreciated
Thanks,
Ken J

Any codes?
Is the popping sound like it is coming from intake?
Should be codes present if bad coil pack. Some type of misfire code.
Could be fuel related, pump not keeping up with demand.

No codes. Some are tuned down or off. Popping coming from exhaust. Gone through two sets of wires and two sets of plugs. Might be coil pack, injector, wire etc...?
Thanks

Possible causes are : collapsed lifter, broken valve spring, bad coil, or timing parameters are out (not likely, but possible).
Take out your plugs and see if one of them is either wet, or grey in color. This will tell you at least which cylinder will be causing the problem.
