Default Where to find parts for LS1 rebuild.

I guess I need to price everything. Right now it looks like two rod bearings are toast, the engine has over 100,000 miles, so I'm recommending replacing the crank instead of taking it to a machine shop. The valves, rockers, and push rods all seem OK, but I'm interested in any advice regarding them too.

We want to get the car back to stock form for autocross use, so there's no need for major performance parts.

P.S. The car is 1997 auto coupe.

Yup, already found one locally and one not-so-local, but I'm doing this for a friend and wanted to cover all the bases before I spent his money.

Call Bob at Fichtner Chev (forum vendor) 1-800-234-5284
Let him know you're a forum member.

Looks like your looking for:

Crankshaft (includes reluctor wheel) 12559354
Crankshaft hole plug (at rear of crank) 10044811
Clutch pilot bearing 14061685
Crankshaft balancer bolt (one time use item) 12557840

I'm sure you can locate the rod/main bearings locally.
