Default map sensor picture

Does anyone have a picture of the MAP sensor in the stock location? I think I knocked it loose this weekend when I did my Oil Pressure sensor.

Not a pic of the map, but a pic of the back of the intake where it goes. It goes in the hole at the very back of the manifold.

I hope this helps you, Randy

thanks - I think that confirms that I probably knocked it loose when I changed the oil pressure sensor. How does the book say to fix it? probably remove the intake?

Are you getting a MAP error or do you have a vacuum leak? The vacuum line being left off or falling off is the more typical problem. The MAP is in there pretty good.

Agreed, if you didnt remove it, it probably did not get knocked loose (unless you have a Fast 90, they dont fit very well). Most likely it is the vacuum line that hooks up to it, you should be able to reach your hand back there and feel if the line is still connected.

I used the hole method to replace the oil pressure sensor and I had to persuade the pcv to get out of the way - so maybe I did knock the hose loose. I have a code p0107

The map sensor was completely disconnected. I was able to contort my hands and get it reconnected.

Thanks for all the input!
