Default 2000 recall question

I have a 2000 FRC and was wondering if there was somewhere online where I could type my VIN to see if the car has had the recall performed?

I believe, if you go here (Select GM Owner Center lower on the page) and register, that with your VIN you can see the service history.

Yes, the dealer can look it up on the VIS system. You might have to go to the dealer and show proof-of-ownership (title and photo ID) before they will give you the info ....

If the column lock has been fixed you should be able to turn the wheel with the car off. Right? Heard it here but can I get a confirmation. If so you can find out by going to your garage and ckecking.
