Default Dealership installed new seatbelts

My car had a recall for the seatbelts. Anyway, my driverside belt was stuck. The dealership put two new belts in the car at no charge. I thought they were just supposed to put some plastic piece on the belt to keep it from twisting. Im happy with the fix.

set belts are covered under warranty for 8 years 100,000 miles IIRC. i haven't had to replace them in a year or two.

There is a "Seat Belt Jamming" recall mandated by the NHTSA. It is a "Safety Recall" and as such has no limitation on mileage, age of vehicle or number of owners, until the repair has been made. You can find more info on the NHTSA website.

Cheers
