Default HUD fuse

I have a close friend that just picked up a 2004 and the found the HUD doesn't work.........can't find the HUD fuse location in the owners manual...does anyone know where/what box it is in.

Are you sure he knows that the slider on the instrument panel cluster affects the display brightness?

I had a cold contact on my slider on one occasion. I recycled it a few times and back up came the HUD. Worth a check first.

Theres no dedicated fuse that I can see on the wiring diag. The two that are in the circuit are #19 and #25 which are generic IPC fuses. They're on the footwell panel
