Default Help!!! with flickering dash lights!

The lights on my radio and climate controller lights start to flicker after a while after of the car being on (1997 C5). The headlights began to flicker when I step on the brake. The volt meter then starts to go below 13.

Can it be a ground, alternator, battery, radio amplifier (no aftermarket) or a short? Can anyone help?

Just from what you described, I believe it to be the alternator. It shouldn't drop below 13 volts from just the brake lights.
