Best type of paint for FAST manifold painting?
Hey guys,
I am about to start prepping my Vengeance "ported" FAST 92mm intake manifold for paint and would like to know what the best type/brand of paint will be for this "Amodel" composite materiel? Also, would I need to use a "plastic adhesion promoter" when painting this materiel or will primer do? The color I am after is a machine silver (same color as my Z). Any link to an online source would be greatly appreciated

, but I am not interested in powder-coating this manifold. I spent too darn much money on this intake as it is, and why they make it this crap gray color I'll never know
. Anyway, I have painted numerous items myself in the past and it is far from difficult. I just need to know if this "Amodel" intake material is picky about the types of paint it will bond with (sounds like a Dr. Phil episode)

That's what I want to do as well. I am trying to get an end result like this (but without the FAST/Wilson emblems):
Also, did you retain your fuel rail covers? If so how difficult was it to modify them to fit correctly?
