Default Which Head is better for my 427" set-up? L92 or 225cc Dart Pro 1?

I Have both l92(ported fully),62cc comb chamb. and Dart 225cc Pro 1, 62cc. Which ones would be better for my set-up? The motor is a 427"- Iron Block, 11.8-1 cr. .647" lift cam(254/262) 110 lobe sep.

If budget is not to much of a concern, i would be calling Tony Mamo up for a set of AFR's worked for your bottom end.

If budget is a concern, i would go L92

I already have both the Dart and the L92 s. I had the Darts on my 346" motor and it dynoed at 471rwhp and the ports on the Darts are quite larger appearing than the L92 s. The L92 s were set-up for use on the 427. I just wondered if they were a better choice. Thanks for your reply Euro!

I have ported L92s (68cc chamber) on a 418ci motor and I got a dyno of 500rwhp (air temp was 98 degrees that day). That was using a ported L76 intake and ported LS2 tb. I think the most important choice with the L92 heads is the cam which people are still having trouble (self included) figuring out the right grind to get the most HP.

I have LME stage 2 L92's on my 416. I'm either gonna need a new intake manifold, or a cam swap to gain over the 528rwhp That I have now. If I could do it over again I would have tried an LS7 derivative, AFR, or TFS heads with my current 244/254 0.630 112 cam
