Default SS letters

Has anyone put the SS letters on their cars w/o using the primer that comes with the letters. I thought all you had to do was to clean the area with alcohol. TIA

Use the primer, the adhesive along may be not strong enough to keep the letters stuck in intense summer heat.

I wish I had passed on this mod. The letters fell out one here one there looked terrible. Had to use heat gun on the others almost melted rear facia. Not worth the money or trouble imho. Looked cheap when they were all there and when they fell out my car looked like a pretty girl with missing teeth. junk imho best of luck
