Default Can I run Comp Cams XR265HR Camshaft with LS6 Valvesprings??? (XR265HR vs LS6 Cam)

I have a 99 vette that will run a vortech supercharger and I'm trying to make a decision between the LS6 or the XR265HR camshafts. Keep in mine that I'm not swapping the heads they will remain stock, it's just a cam swap it'll be doing. Is it worth the extra money to get something alittle better then the LS6? Also can I run 02-04 LS6 Valvesprings with the XR265HR camshaft?

I'd like to say you probably could get away with the Comp cam with LS6 springs...and on paper, you should be able to.

But there's been an awful lot of spring breakage reports from people with bone stock LS6s lately, which tells me those springs might not be quite as robust and durable as GM had hoped for.

I would opt for a little stouter spring like a Comp 918 at bare minimum.
