Default Balancing driveshaft

Hi - Had a rattle noise and vibration.
Dropped torque tube and found driveshaft weight was broken off causing the rattle noise and contributed to the vibration.
Also the rubber couplers were destroyed:

Do I find a shop to re-balance the driveshaft? (anyone in NY know a shop that does it?)

Or do I find a used driveshaft?

Thank you and happy 4th!

Wow ... that coupler is tore up pretty good. With some calling around I'm sure you can find a good shop that does driveshaft balancing.

How are those weights attached? What do you think caused the one weight to break off?

I think you have that backwards. Based on the condition of the couplers, this was the main source of the vibration.
