Default •• All Injectors on sale! (FAST, Siemens, DeatschWerks) •• HINSON Motorsports

All of our Fuel Injectors are on sale!

Most injectors will max out at 80% duty cycle and this is the accepted industry standard. After you install heads, cam, intake, your sucking in alot more air and your motor needs more fuel! Your injectors will be unpredictable when maxed out and you do not want to be running out of fuel at 6000+ rpm. If you have any questions about which injector size or accessories you may need, feel free to ask them in this thread. You can reach us at 205-267-6387 or seth@hinsonsupercars.com

The FAST 65's are the largest LS3 style injector we carry. In order to use the Siemens 83's (LS1 style, longer) on your LS3/L76 manifold, you'll need to use spacers and longer bolts for your fuel rails. The Siemens 83's are available with both EV1 (LS1) and EV6 (LS2,LS3,LS7) connections, so you will not need the injector harness adapters. Also keep in mind that the FAST 65's are 65# @ 58 psi. Whereas the Siemens 83's are 96# @ 58 psi.

I just installed a ls6 intake and ported throttle body on my 98 ls1, and was thinking about uprgading the injectors. Would new ones help me out any and if so, which ones should I get?

If all you have done is boltons, then you will not need larger injectors. Once you starting adding parts like Heads/Cam, the 36's or 42's will work great for you.

Stupid question I know, but how bad will my car run from switching from the 60# injectors to the 83# injectors without changing anything in the tune.

Im going to get the car tuned for the 83s obviously, just curious as to what would happen with the switch w/o any changes.

Thanks!

p.s. whats the part # for these 83#ers?

The tables in your PCM will need to be changed for the additional fuel. After that, they should drive just fine. I have a Ford Part# M-9593-LU80.

Question.........I have a darton sleeved LS1 with Total Engine Airflow ported L92 heads with 388 cubes, I'll be using the G6x3 Cam & the new FAST Intake. This is going into a 01 Z06. I already have a take-off LS3 Intake with injectors, but don't really think I want to use injector adaptors. What is the best way of setting this up for the long run & ease of installation? Thanks!

Use an LS1 injector (SVO 42's will work great). Space up the fuel rails and change the o-rings accordingly.

I really don't know anything about injectors but i have a question. Do the injectors spray at the same rate all the time or does it just depend on how much/little throttle is used? Basically i'm asking if you have a 42lb injector car and 60lb injector car will you get worse fuel economy out of the 60 lb injector car if you drove both the cars exactly the same?

Are your 83# injectors flow matched? I didn't see that on your website.

The two injectors will provide the same amount of fuel at every RPM/Load interval when tuned on the same engine. The larger injector allows it to support more horsepower and deliver the necessary fuel requirement for the engine. The smaller injector is going to shoot a better spray pattern than the larger injector at low opening operations. The difference between a 42lb and 60lb injector isn't large enough to worry about negative side affects in driveability as compared to a 160 lb vs. 28 lb injector. The larger injector will not get worse gas mileage just because it's larger. It will get worse gas mileage because your commanding more fuel consumption based on horsepower.

They are not flow matched. This isn't necessary on new injectors.

Planning on these mods to my LS1: AFR 205 heads (62cc), Fast 90 intake and TB, Comp Cam 224/230 .581/.588 114, LT headers. What injectors would you recommend. Also, are the SVO 30's really 36lb injectors? Thanks.
