Default Broken exhaust manifold flange stud... where to get a new one?

Hey guys,
Over the weekend I was working on putting a new starter in my 2000 FRC. Even though I hosed all the exhaust bolts down with WD40, one of them still broke off.

It is one of the studs that is on the exhaust manifold flange where the rest of the exhaust system bolts to the manifold.

I am NOT looking for a bolt that bolts the manifold to the head.

Anyone have a source to get a new one? Or a part number? I have a feeling the dealer parts guys will just give me a blank stare when I ask for this, so I'd like to have a part number to give them. I've been searching, but no luck so far.

Oh yeah, "sounds like a good time to get headers!" is not the answer I'm looking for

Most auto parts stores have them available and on the shelf.

Thanks man, I'll take a look after work.

Also, I just found this post with a different search, http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...t-numbers.html

It has the part numbers. Just adding this in case someone else searches for this info and comes up with my thread.

I bought one from Advance but with all the tools I have I never got the broken piece out. So what to do? I ended up cutting it off flush and considered drilling and tapping a new thread but once I got the hole drilled, which was easy by the way, a light went off and I drove over to Lowes and bought a stainless bolt, nut, and washers and just through bolted it. Headers are in my future so a through bolted exhaust doesn't bother me.

If you have to have a new stud the dealer will also have them. Don't think the parts guys are stoopid it's a common item. Remember the Techs at the dealer ship bust off more bolts then you ever will so they are always in stock. Ecklers lists them as well.

I have a set of broken stud extractors on the way. Hopefully they do the trick.

My Snap On broken stud extractors only broke the bolt off shorter. It's really a biotch. Pray you get lucky. I sprayed mine a half dozen times with PB Blaster and even soaked it over night. Heated it with a torch which sure burned up all the PB Blaster and caused a small fear of fire. That stud wasn't coming out. Passenger side lower inner by the way. The others all came right off. Good luck.
