I have seen $450 to $1400, I paid $450 with valve train upgrade/cam/pulley instl.

Most shops (what I've seen in Texas) install cams for $1200-$1700, with cam, gaskets, fluids and new springs. You're probably better off buying the cam from the installer for a better deal. :cheers:
