Three things I've learned from working on my C5...
1) The cure for all vibration in my Hurst shifter was to replace it with an MGW shifter.
2) The "flasher fix" from Corvette Enhancements really does work, and it's an easy mod.
3) Replacing the stock antenna assembly is like trying to deliver a two-headed mutant baby through the hoo-hah of a petite woman who doesn't understand the word "push!"

I've learned that you shouldn't try and put a remote clutch bleeder on the car with the clutch still in place.
I also learned that you shouldn't mount things like wideband o2 controllers and wiring bundles on the top of the closeout panel when you're running long-tubes.
Also the suspension cam bolts need to be real, real tight.
I've worked on all sorts of cars, and I've gotta say, C5s are pretty neat.

#1 I fixed by simply removing the death pin and leaving the **** on without it.
I've learned that people try to jack the price for ANYTHING if they find out it's Vette related.
Learned that TT kits fit in very very tightly, and anything small can change clearances.

A - Not get it; but still get charged
B - Get parts of it, but not all; and still get charged
C - Get the what you think is the WORLDS BEST KIT; then find out that it''s made in China has a few week spots and turbos that are total junk; then find out that the manufacturer not only won't stand behind their kit but they'll stop selling kits for all domestic cars after they make there $$$; and laugh at how badly they've screwed everyone
