Default Option button not working oil pressure switch out.

The option button on my C5 does not work, I wanted to do the Auto Diagnosis thing to see why my check engine light is on. I do know the Oil Pressure switch/sensor is out, but a friend told me that wont cause the check engine light to turn on.

Also how hard is the replacement on an oil pressure switch?

Default

Need to pull the intake manifold to swap out sensors.

Close the door, put key in ignition and turn to the on position, clear all messages by hitting reset.

The try the option and fuel switches to read codes.
