removing interior trim piece above windshield
Does anyone know how to remove the interior trim piece above the windshield? I want to remove it but don't want to damage by forceing it.

Windshield Upper Garnish Molding Replacement
Removal Procedure
Remove the windshield side garnish moldings.
Grasp the windshield side garnish molding.
Pull the molding with its retainers from the windshield frame.
Remove the inside rearview mirror.
Disconnect the inside rearview mirror electrical connector.
Loosen the mirror mount tension screw.
Slide the mirror up off the mirror bracket.
Remove the sunshades. Refer to Sunshade Replacement in Interior Trim.
Grasp the upper garnish molding and pull the garnish molding with its retainers from the windshield frame.
Removal Procedure

Grasp the windshield side garnish molding.
Pull the molding with its retainers from the windshield frame.
Remove the inside rearview mirror.

So I'm guessing that it's held in place with push in pins like the door panel.Thanks for the info BTW byronhunter.
