Default Problem Installing window regulator! Please help.

I’m having a problem installing the window regulator. It’s really more of a problem removing the passenger side window in order to install the regulator.

Directions say: remove window before installing the regulator. My window won't go down! Hammer tap no work, it's really, really stuck in the up position. This is why I need a new window regulator.

So what do I do now? Please any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Yes C5, and yes door panels are off. I was just trying to follow the directions I have. My plan is now to unbold the old regulator, and hope that will drop the window so I can get at the bolts holding it in.

Hope this works!

Thanks, I got to the bolts and was able to get the window out. New regulator is in and works great!
