I recently changed my oil, and after doing a search on the forum, figured out how to reset the oil life remaining monitor.

I have tried this numerous times now, and i cant get it to reset. Once i get to the oil life remaining display, i hit reset, and the number goes to _ _ _ %. Once i start driving, it eventually goes back to 18% like it was before the oil change..

What am i doing wrong here? haha

To reset the CHANGE OIL SOON message or reset OIL LIFE monitor system after an oil change, do the following:

1. Turn the ignition to ON, with the engine off.
2. Press the TRIP button so the OIL LIFE percentage
is displayed.
3. Press RESET and hold for two seconds. OIL LIFE
REMAIN 100% will appear.

Thanks... Maybe i was trying it w/ the engine running, or i wasnt holding the reset button for a few seconds, but i just tried it your way and it worked.

you can alos hit the go pedal 3 times ,with just ignition on .

YEah, turn ign on (eng off) and press the go pedal 3x. Enjoy.
