Supercharger/clutch/head gasket
I am glad that I have been researching into a installation of a supercharger before actually buying one. The first thing I found out is that most manual transmission C5's stock clutch starts to go after a short time of using the power of the s/c. I just read an article that says the stock LS1 engine has ten head bolts and has problems blowing head gaskets when boosted by s/c, nitrous or turbo. Aftermarket heads are recommended for a boosted engine. I did a search to see how many of you have had head gasket problems, but did not see that many.
Anyone want to expand on this?

Alot of the guys in fi section are running the oem mls mutilayer seal gasket that is the best gasket by far that i have seen for fi,alot of the guys are running these gaskets in HIGH Hp cars without lifting the heads ,as long as you put arp head studs with the multi layer seal gasket u should be able to throw Lots of boost without issues

I think some older C5s have fiber gaskets from the factory. The newer MLS are far better, and I also used copper spray for a little insurance. Same goes for the exhaust gaskets, except for the spray.
