Default Clunk Clunk noise

I recently put a C6 Z06 rear sway bar on my '99. I have metal end links. Now I'm hearing clunk clunk, especially when one rear wheel goes over a rise and is higher than the other. I can hear it a low speed like in parking lots. We lifted the car. Everything is real tight. Any ideas?

Is your car lowered?

If the noise is new with the new sway and links, I would guess you may have gotten a bad link. These are a common source of clunk type noise. The exhaust system is a common source as well.

Look at the space between the sway and the cradle. Stock had 1/4", installing the C6Z51 it was noticed by another member that he had less than a credit card space. I checked mine and it was touching.

Don't know if they caused the clunks, because I am lowered and am working through other issues as well, but I made some spacers to get the 1/4" space back.

Possible that when one side goes up, the A arm goes up and so does the sway, and it's hitting the rear aluminum craddle.

You'll see some pictures of Stock and then the spacers. I don't know if this is your problem, but I know I didn't like them touching as they are not designed too.

I have the same problem. I did a search and it might be the rear diff. fluid or the torque of your sway bar end links:
