C5 vs ZO6 exhaust manifolds
Can I use a 2002 Z06 exhaust manifold on my 1999 C5?
I will be trading my LGs for a set of stock ZO6 exhaust manifolds (and other things) but I want to make sure the manifolds will work on my car. Please advise. Thank you.

You need the corrosponding midpipe. The NON ZO6 cars have PUP Cats. ZO6 car do NOT have pup cats so the mid pipe is different.
Here is a picture of a NON ZO6 midpipe:

If the OP is trading his LG system (longtubes) for a stock unit, he would be trading the entire system from the headers to the catback. No other way to do it. The Z06 manifolds will work on your LS1 heads. I think that is what he's wanting to know.

Just to let you know...
ALL '01+ Corvette manifolds are identical whether it's a base or Zo6.
Also, the 4 catted mid-pipe pictured by BC will fit any year car including a Zo6.
My '01 Zo6 had the 4 catted pipes from the factory (standard on '01Zo6s) which I swapped for the '02+ dual cat pipes which GM did from the factory in '02+.
Direct fit and interchangable.
On the subject of your particular 'Vette... you will have no issues. Direct bolt on. Although the '01 cast iron manifolds are a bit heavier than before... the newer ones offer minimal flow gains compared to the older ones.

Thank you for the answers.
@ Fbodyowner, if my trade with my friend doesn't go through I may contact you.
I have another related concern now.
From the picture above posted by Mr. Curlee, it looks like the stock cats are welded to the exhaust system, is this true on Z06s?
I want to trade the headers for the exhaust manifolds only, not the cats because the cats I have on my car are only 7 months old with less than 7000 miles on them. My friends car is a 8 year old car Z06 with about 30k miles and stock exhaust/cats.
Please advise thank you.

All the CATs on the mid pipe are laser welded in place. Its ONE PIECE from GM. If one cat goes bad, you replace the entire midpipe. If you do your own work, I guess you can cut and paste.

The '01+ will bolt to the earlier cars, with the corresponding air endpieces (easy to find if you request in the parts section) due to the minor angle/curve differences between earlier and later. If it wasn't for the air (deleted on all my performance cars anyway) it's a direct fit. The oil tube is an easy mod for a gearhead.
Sorry for the confusion.

are you doing this for smog purposes,or just to go back to stock exhaust?
if it's for smog, you will need the entire system from manifolds to the axleback.they will want to see factory cats or pruff that they were changed with cats that are smog leagal in ca. very few aftermarket cats are legal in ca.
that said, there are smog shops that will pass a car on a tailpipe only test.they don't care about the visual.
since you have a '99,your factory exhaust didn't have the pup cats.and check where your passanger air tube connects to the exhaust manifold.if its on the very back cylinder, you will need to swap them with the other car.i had to take the intake manifold off mine to get to the air tube.
