Default New clutch noise/rear end whine

1997 6 speed...just had my tranny rebuilt (upgraded to billet shift keys, carbon blocker rings, etc.). Upgraded my clutch to a Z06 clutch. Added a B&M sport shifter. Noticed a screech when downshifting from 3rd to second. What the hell is it? Also, getting a whine in 5th and 6th gears at higher speeds. All work done at a reputable shop. I've done some research that says the clutch noise could be due to the ceramics in the new clutch and I should intentionally slip it to remove this glaze. Does that actually work? Also, the new whining noise in the rear dif. could be due to a mis-aligned pattern or something. Any help would be greatly appreciated. John
