Melting Slicks
Chip,
I have silicone hoses and the worm clamps seem to loosen up over time. Is that due to expansion/contraction? Saw you recommended some other clamps but your website just shows regular worm clamps. Do you sell the other clamps you recommended in a set?
Thanks!

I've never really heard of the clamps loosening up...
The reason we suggest T-Bolt Clamps is that the worm clamps
tend to cut into the silicone if they are over-tightened.
Check these out

Sorry, we don't carry anything but the SS Worm Clamps

Any chance you could provide a list of of clamps needed with minimum ID's and quantities needed to install the hose kit? I am in the market for a set pretty soon and I would like to source some t-clamps. Not a big fan appearance wise of the screw type.

Silicone Hoses in Temp ratings, pressure ratings and longevity.
Over the last decade OEM rubber hoses are greatly improved
and there is really not a big difference.
They still have a higher pressure rating, but that is not really an
issue because the OEM rubber is rated higher than the cars output.
Heat and Cold are the enemy of rubber hoses, so if you live
where there is a cold winter and a hot summer, you may find
some long term benefit
Peace
