ac delco iridium 41-110 gap?
I have a box of 41-110 ac delco plugs that are gaped at .033
Is this the correct gap? I read you are not able to regap iridium plugs?

The correct gap is .040". By changing the gap you risk damaging the plug tip. Others on here have done it with no apparent damage. Or, you could return them for ones properly gapped.
The ones I purchased were correctly gapped.

If you gap those by prying in between the tip and the electrode, you will most likely damage the iridium on the tip. Are you out in the boonies? I would think that you could get a set locally and then just send back the plugs to Parts Taxi, that way you could check the gap in the store.

It appears as if it may be operator error.
I went and bought a second box and had the guy at the part store check one and it was .040 with the cheap 99 cent taper tool.
My 2.50 cent one is giving me problems. The new box measured the same gap as the one from parts taxi with the different tool

I measured with a set of feeler gauge.
I'll recheck in the am. I'll check the feeler gauge with a set of calipers to verify the thickness.

I have one ,however I can't find it. it bends the tip by putting pressure under it or over it depending which direction you want to go.
I bought it for .99 cent 25 years ago.
