Default new tires....flat spots now?

I can't quite figure it out, but it seems my new hankooks develop flat spots overnight. It goes away after 3-5 minutes driving, but seems odd to me. I've never noticed this with any other tire before...could it be due to soft compound?

Is anyone else old enough to remember NYLON tires? Overnite they would develop flat spots that would make you think the tires were square not round!!

Default Hankook Tires

If you think that's bad, wait until Winter.

well, it certainly is a minor issue....I just drove them hard tonight and I love them on the E-way...so quiet I now hear things in my cds I never noticed before...I just think it is a soft compound compared to the Michelins....that means they won't last as long though.

I've got these on 3 cars, 2 which get driven no more than once a week and never noticed that.

I didn't think radials would do that.

Prolly not the tire itself, rather the air pressure. Most shops never put a tire to the car recommended air pressure and therefore can be over/ or more likely undercharged with air. This can in turn create the flat spot feel till the car is rolling for a few miles.

I bet you have hit it there. I know 3 tires are 2 pounds under...I'll fix that and let you guys know.
