Default Transmission sealant!!! What to use?

I have my tranny and diff out of my car for a clutch swap. My transmission was leaking where the case is bolted together by the drain plug. I split the case, cleaned up the old gasket and am ready to bolt it back together. What gasket sealant should I use. I have some "Permatex" ultra copper RTV gasket maker. It states that it's sensor safe, good to 700 degreesF and superior oil resistance. Does it sound like this is a suitable sealant or what would you suggest from personal experience. Thanks.

"Permatex" ultra copper RTV gasket maker will work.

Permatex® Ultra Black® Maximum Oil Resistance RTV Silicone Gasket Maker or
Permatex® the Right Stuff® Gasket Maker would be a better Choice!

I also have the following:

Loctite superflex red High Temp RTV silicone.

Permatex red hi-temp gasket maker RTV silicone.

Both are good around 600F. Which is a better product for a transmission case? Thanks.

You won't have a problem with any of those. Make sure you spread it out some and don't go crazy so it oozes out into the case to much.
