I have a 99 vette and just put a new battery in the key fob an now have to reprogram it how do i do this?

First try to resync the fob to the car by holding down the lock and unlock buttons at the same time on the fob until the horn honks. If this works, you're all set. If not, then follow the relearn procedure in the manual. You really shouldn't have to relearn when you change the battery.

disconnecting the battery will re set the key fob and it will need to be programmed again-- do as mentined above --hold both buttons at the same time until the horn honks TWICE--also the key i beleive MUST be ON---
