Default Installing SLP LONGTUBES AND LOUDMOUTH

I have already done a search and could not find the information I need. I found a good deal on some 1 3/4 lontubes 2.5 h pipe hi flow cats and a loudmouth catback....I currently have titanium exhaust. Motor is stock other than flip tie and 100 wet shot....

My question is has anyone installed these headers and how were they ( they are the newer style NOT TUNED LENGTH WITH FUNKY HEADERS). I am worried it is going to be too loud and that maybe I should sell the LOUDMOUTH and use my stock ti's ( could use the loudmouth money to fund some cutouts). I do not daily drive the car so drone and stuff is a non issue as its a weekend cruiser.

Anyone care to share their experiences? Pros cons? Keep ti's or try loudmouths? Sorry for all the questions I am the type that has trouble making decisions without doing tons of research.

On a side note I have HPTUNERS so I will be tuning them so dont worry about that.

If you are going to do the install yourself then I would say try the loudmouths and if you dont like them then sell them. I am going to be installing headers this summer hopefully and also have loudmouths installed right now, I am going to try and keep the loudmouths on but if they are too loud I have a set of Ti's sitting in the shed.

It shouldnt be bad with the cats on. If you take them off then it will be very loud.

I really miss Chattanooga.......Only a year left and I will be back.

I have Loudmouths and love them and I drive the hell out of my car. Its probably to loud for most but for me the louder the better.

I would show you a video clip of it idling but I get on a little bit in the video not bad up to 60mph but I am not sure they will allow the video on here.

Thanks for the video! I like the sound. I should be installing them next weekend so I will post videos before and after. I think im gonna try the SLP with the headers.

Anyone else have them with headers? How big of a difference?

0331Marine, thank you for your service. I have a couple buds that were in Mike Battery ( reserves) that serves two tours. Thanks for all you do

Im sure if you do a search on youtube that you can find one with a similar setup. Unfortunately I will not have a sound clip with headers until about August, at least thats my guess as I have not had time to learn how HP tuners works yet and I am leaving for basic next Monday and wont be back till June.
It sure is going to be a long wait till I get to drive my car again and get those longtubes in

That thing sounds sweet, do you have much trouble with the police and noise? Im sure most of loudness is coming from that cam isnt it?

Thank you! Yeah the cam did make it louder as cams will always do that but even from before it was loud. But I have had one cop say something about the noise but he was a dick head kicking us out of meet and we were doing nothing dumb like the other meets where I live.

I have 1 7/8 ARH Off Road X Pipe (no cats) and SLP Loudmouths. No restriction at all.

Yea Im thinking about going with lg super pro catted, but they come with the pipe for off road use too so I get both for inspection. I am hoping that I can keep the loudmouths as this is my DD and I cant have it killing me every time I go out and drive it. From what I have heard though headers dont make it that much louder unless you are at WOT.

Just installed the SLP headers, hi flow cat and X pipe. They were a motherfr and I had to pull the stearing shaft and valve cover on both sides. I am happy with the seat of the pants and will check the fuel trims. Made my ti's sound like I wanted so I will be selling my SLP loudmouth catback. I will say the headers look more like midlengths than longtubes ( compared to the kooks for examples)
