Will these 17" inch wheels fit a 2000 FRC C5?
As the thread asks, will these fit a 2000 FRC without issue for daily driiving?
17" Fits Corvette ZR1 Replica Wheels - Black-Machined Lip -17x9.5 -17x11-SET
FRONT WHEEL SIZE: 17x9.5
FRONT WHEEL OFFSET: 56mm
REAR WHEEL SIZE: 17x11
REAR WHEEL OFFSET: 50mm
BOLT PATTERN: 5-120.65
Tires would be: Nitto NT05R
275/40/17 @ 25.79" Tall
315/35/17 @ 25.71" Tall
http://www.oewheelsllc.com/Wheels-fo...39402-3-1.html
This will be for a daily driver looking for the best lateral acceleration.
Or am I better off with an 18x 10.5 rear wheel?
Thanks in advance.

I run a 11 inch wide with 305 with tires looks good.. you may want to consider getting bigger wheels for the back as running 17s all around will enlarge the gap from the fender

I disagree with both of the last statements. Your gap will be proportional to the overall diameter of your current setup. 315/35/17=25.55" compare 285/35/18=25.91" A difference of 3 tenths of an inch. I'd love for someone to spot that walking by my car .
And about the active handeling/ traction control, you will be MORE than fine with those sizes. Do a search on that topic and you will see lots of guys with a bigger difference in there diameters running fine. Those are basically the same diameter tires so....it will take at least 3-4% differnce (spinning) to set off the AH/TC.
But IMHO the bigger issue is the added rotating mass you picking up with the replicas. As compared to the C5Z 18x10.5's you were referring to. You will tell the difference !!
Thanks...
