Cool. Can you take a picture to detail this location exactly, for the rest of us?

Here's some quick pictures I just took. There basically seems to be 2 things to check in this area. The harness connector for the front lights, and that splice pack looking thing coming off that harness. It doesn't seem to be a connector, so I assume its a splice back... althought it kinds looks odd that it's not mounted to the chassis like the others throughout the car.

So a far it's been 2 days and no more problems. My neighborhood roads are really bumpy right now too, they are redoing the roads, so it's a good test. They tore up all the pavement... so it's all dirt and rocks.

The pictures above are the exact plug and splice pack in question. I put the car up on ramps and took the bottom covers off to access both blinkers. Took the blinker sockets out, running light sockets out and unplugged the harness. I pulled the plug and the splice pack out through the slot buy the front skid bars. There was plenty of slack to access the spice pack there. Unplugging the harness was the hard part. I moved the passenger side brake duct back and reached through the opening in the bumper to unplug it. Pretty snug fit...but I got it. I found it easier to plug it back in reaching in from the under side of the car.
Lou... Thanks for helping me tag team this issue.
Hope this helps.

I have a 2007 z06. I installed LED DRL's a while back and they have worked fine.. I also installed LED side marker lights which also work fine. I just recently installed LED halo's in the brake lights. When I put the left turn signal on.. The dash lights and radio lights flash - the left rear brake lights do not flash. Also my radio loses station frequency when the brake pedal is pushed. Anyone have suggestions for the problem?

Default Easy Fix For Problem.

i recently bought a 2000 Corvette Vert. Turns signal blinked at flasher speed, lights on both arrows came on, breaking dash lights flashed and each start up or hitting flashers created another variation.

Took to a wire guy who wires Hot Rods and he said it was the ground wire to the left turn signal. Pulled it out, cleaned and connected wire and problem fixed!!! 😀 hope this helped... 45 minute fix!

Wire guy said this is very common, GM has not changed their wire colors for decade making his job easier. Corvettes are not metal so it's almost always a ground problem. He says start with front turn signal/Marker lights. Loose ground wire at the left or right signal lights will be found the vast majority of the time.

Default 99 C5 lights in cluster flicker

Hey guys I got the same issue with my vette lights flicker , relays in the BCM going crazy, the only thing that makes it stop is when the parking lights or headlights are turned on . THIS SUCKS!

I should be looking for a loose connection in one of the light harness connectors? Right front bumper?

My park lights were dim even after replacing bulbs. This according to my expert indicated where the loose wire was. He opened the left turn signal/, park light and tighten the ground wire and all problems were back to normal.

I hate to dig up an old thread but I woke up this morning and went to take the c5 out to get the wife and daughter coffee and my dash was blinking like I was at a rave. I removed every ground and cleaned them only to have the same problem. Took the ignition switch out and cleaned it and still no luck. After removing, cleaning, and inspecting basically every connection on the car I ended up at the front on the turn signal harness. Turns out one of the connections was a little loose. There are multiple posts in this problem, and I figured I would post what solved the issue for me.
