@##$%&**!!! P410 C H CODE HELP in REPAIR HELL
This code caused a check engine light on my 2002 Coupe. I reset it and it seemed to stay off. Come smog I fail because the monitors are not all reset. I don't drive it much and was injured for a couple of months. The car only has 14500 miles on it. Well I was driving it to get the monitors reset and it throws a P410 C H again.
This time I take it to Corvette Specialty in Riverside, CA. They diagnose and replace a relay. They drove the car about 100 mile and could not get all the monitors reset to do the smog.
I paid my registration in June and then crashed and burned with the leg injury. That took 2 months to heal.
I spoke with BAR and a Gold Shield repair shop who said the monitors should have reset. DMV refuses to provide me an extension.
I am going back to the Smog test place this friday to have him check the readiness of the monitors.
Does any of this sound right to you guys. I'm wondering if my car really got fixed?

Get a cheap engine monitor Like the Actron 9575. ($100)
It will display the monitors. (and tons more as well as clear codes and ID them).
I bought mine at a local Auto Zone.
Then you have to drive a certain profile.
Google it as a Chevrolet "OBD II drive cycle." or see the manual.
http://www.obdii.com/drivecycle.html
Or drive a lot until you see all the monitors are reset.
The smog shop can only allow 1 monitor not reset.
The tool is valuable for many reasons.
Good luck

I had a problem like this with an Acura. The monitors will not start if there is still a code set. You must find the code and reset it. Then the normal drive cycle reset can begin. I bought an OBDII tool at Sears for about $125.00 and saw the code immediately. I reset it and all was good.
