Default Uneven temps side to side C5 A/C

Is there a way to "sync" the A/C doors on 99 C5 with the electronic A/C? The passenger side is colder than the drivers side even adjusting the passenger control.

I just fixed a similar problem.. I couldn't get warm to the right side.. I pulled the dash apart but I think what fixed it was to resolder the connector pins on the back of the controller... It's not hard at all to get out and comes apart easily.. AND it's a cheap fix to try...

There are actuator motors for both sides and they do give trouble at times.. A search will get you lots of information.. The soldering fix is easy and cheap...

Good luck.. Let us know how you do...

ps.. Taking the dash apart is not all that hard if you're just a little handy.. Lots of info
on the forum...

My controller has been replaced because the original had become to dim to read. I have not pulled the codes yet. Would an actuator motor show a code?

Yes. Your problem is common, and has been discussed numerous times this summer. Try a search.

I tried but nothing came up. Not sure what wording will pull it up.

So now what? Do you just stop trying?

First I will reset the doors, then check the refrigerant. It has been about 3 years since the refrigerant was checked. Hopefully that will fix the problem. If not it looks like one of the actuators could have a bad gear. This forum is great!

The first thing you should do is pull your codes!
