Effective gearing 3.42 in 3rd vs. Others in 4th
I've run this on the gear calculator found that I can finish the 1/4 in 3rd @120 mph, would that be more effective than having to shift to 4th?
Tires 305-35-18 6800 RPM 120mph 3.42 gears 3rd
Tires 305-35-18 6800 RPM 110mph 3.73 gears shift to 4th@5200rpm
Tires 305-35-18 6800 RPM 100mph 4.10 gears shift to 4th@5200rpm
This of course will be with 02 6spd coupe H/C/I, shouldn't pulling across the 1/4 at MAX power be better with out the extra shift?
