The LG clamps come with cheap stainless bolts and nuts that strip - instead of the grade 8 bolts you need. Accuseal doesn't require that you be a contortionist to try to get a wrench on top of the clamp like the cheap LG stuff. The spacer they have (LG) on the clamp is a cheap piece of hollow junk that deforms and collapses when you try to tighten the clamp, unlike the solid spacer on the Accuseal.

It cost me an additional $100 to buy good clamps and the additional labor of having to take it all apart several times.

The LG Super Pro is a nice header, but sending out such junk for clamps just ridiculous.
I was able to get 6 3" torc tite clamps for under 70 to my door, but you are right about sending out those cheap clamps. I sent an email off to LG and they said that you just have to crank on them real hard, I replied with I have bottomed all of them out and they arent even close to sealing....

Im pretty sure that they are going to be right around the same price, I know I found my super pros cheaper than ARH's but I didnt really look too hard.
With the ARH's you dont have to worry about clamps but your primaries are not as long so from my understanding you wont have as much torque down low as with the Lg's.

Acuseal is actually used on most heavy truck exhaust. Peterbilt and Kenworth. They make all kinds of grades too and styles. They offer thinner polished s/s clamps that seal awesome!!!

Can't LG Street headers for the money and mild mods either

Care to show us? Don't confuse an american flag for "made in the USA".

This XSpower crap has been beat to death and I'm done with it. Just ask yourself why they are so cheap? Go ahaed, just ask yourself.

Oh, but I do see it in writing. It's right here...

Here's another one, post #55 and the answer post #56.

And here, post #74 - made in Georgia;

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-p...uy-look-4.html

Since you have no proof that Jon is lying you really should take your lying, speculating Made in China BS somewhere else. Funny that you also claim the XSPower has been beat to death and you've had enough of it, yet you've never seen any "Made in USA" posts before. Guess you have very selective reading abilities.

So apparently you "believe" they are Chinese, can you show us any proof of your beliefs? I'm thinking of going with XS, they look good and the price is right. My second choice would be LG streets, but as they are $400 more, and more than likely the power difference would be negligible I don't see a reason to spend that much more (catted version).

He doesn't have any proof...just because a product is cheap, doesn't always mean that there is corner cutting or false statments. Take kinetic rotors for example, you can get great aftermarket drilled/slotted rotors for virtually the cost fo stock ones. Guarantee you 50% of the members on here that have rotors, have kinetic and work great. Here in a few more years, I think the same the will be said about XS power. I havent read very many negative things about them. When you have a good customer service base, you usually find a good product because they are willing to stand behind it. Judgnot, if you have a story to tell about a negative experience, please share. If not, then you can potentially damage a maybe good vendor and a good person's reputation. Get your facts and come back.

XSPower - Installed last June - Zero problems - great fit, everything lined up correctly, O2 clearance was good & wires fit w/no extensions needed, I'm impressed with seat of pants power increase and great sound thru cats & TI catback. Superman09 gave me a great product at a fair price.

I went with XS powers, though I've never fully been satisfied with their origin (despite the american flag stamp that really does nothing to verify where they are made). I took them to my tuner for install. He was initially skeptical. When I picked up the car, he emphatically stressed how much he liked them and stated that the fit and build quality was great. Not so much can be said for the GHL catbacks that he installed at the same time. The fit was so bad that he actually had to tig them straight to the xpipe after cutting off the flanges that were misaligned and thin. This is coming from a well respected tuner who typically installs AR or LGs.
