Default 1997 to 2000 PCM Swap problems. Few questions

Hey Guys,
Im in the middle of a PCM swap for a customer of ours, and have run into a few hiccups. A couple of the pin out dont match up from the book, and we have a few "extra" pins.

On both the blue and red plug (1997 PCM) the #24 Pin is sensor Ground Jumper. On the 2000 PCM, there is no location for this. what do you guys do with them? Do you delete them? Or do you put them in an empty pin?

On the Red Plug (1997 PCM) There are 2 pins that say the exact same thing.
  • Pin 13, Purple/white, Injector #2 Control.
  • Pin 23, Light Green/Black Injector #2 Control

But on the 2000 PCM, it only has 1 location for Injector #2 Control, which is Pin #4, Blue Plug, Injector #2 Control.

Last but not least, Red Plug, Pin #69, Brown Wire, EVAP Purge Vacuum Switch signal. We put it in Pin #45, Red plug (2000 PCM), EVAP canister Vent valve. Is that correct? That is the ONLY pin that refrences the EVAP on the PCM.

I was told by a few guys that one of the books is wrong, but no one knew for sure exactly WHICH one. We have succesfully completed 99% of it, but are down to 3 stinkin wires.

Any help would be appreciated.

The jumpers are unused for the 2000 PCM....leave them out.

You have to reference the schematic on this one Jeff, not just the pinout.....as this is a misprint in the pinout.

The light green/black wire is for the #2 "injector control". The purple/white wire is for #2 "ignition control"

I'll have to research this one.
