Default Drivers seat control module

Hi all, 2001 c5 I am having a problem with the drivers seat electric control module DIC code B2605H (seat front verticle possition sensor) U 1064H (loss of communication) It does not affect my driving position but when the big boss drives (wife) the seat position is to low. Now the question. Can I switch the passenger seat module to the drivers side? Thanks in advance

Steve

Default

There is only one SCM (seat control module) and its under the driver's seat. I've heard of no failures of the SCM itself but lots of issues with the connectors to it at the seat to car interface. Essentially two connectors at the carpet. The pins/sockets will become lose over time and start having issues. Also, FYI, the connectors and SCM also handle the telescoping steering wheel memory, position, power and so on.
