Re: Any experience with Dunlop SP Sport 8000's?? (RCswish)
I ran these tires on my old '86 for years. LOVED them. Best sticking tire I ever put on a car, in the wet or dry. They are definitely NOT all-season tires, and if you get stuck on an icy patch or even a slick spot of mud, you won't go anywhere! But for rain-slicked roads or dry pavement, they were terrific. They lasted quite a long time, considering I autocrossed a lot then - I got over 30,000 miles on them before replacing them with a new set. Big thumbs up from me :yesnod: I wish I could tell you that I have had the same experience with my C5, but I haven't had the chance to replace the EMT's yet! I can't imagine that they wouldn't still be a great tire.

I used these on my previous car - Integra GSR. They were awesome. I didn't realize they come in our sizes

They sure do.
Is anyone running 295/30or35/18 on a 9.5 inch rim?

Yes.. they are a grippy tire in the corners but they do not last if you do any burnouts. I had less than 6,500 miles before the 285's were gone. Just my .02

Have you consider one of these? I'm not sure what type of driving you do, but this will do all season. Just like Pilot Sports from Michellin.
If Bridgestone make larger size 295/30/19 for the rear I would definitely get one of these.

I have tried a lot of tires and was specifically asking about the Dunlop 8000's because they have the size I want at a great price. I don't care too much on how long they last...they are rated at about 200 so I know they wont last long.

I am on my second set of them. The change from run flats to these was OUTSTANDING. They are quieter, corner better, stop better, and give better off the line traction. They won't last forever, but I'd expect simular mileage to the runflats. Their only downside is if you drive them hard, (get them hot) and park for a few hours, they get flat spots. The next time you drive they feel out of balance till they get warm which takes a few miles.
I reccomend them.

I may go with a set then...does anyone else have anything negative to say about them besides tread wear?
