Default How do you remove a stuck 12 CD cartridge from the trunk CD player?

My factory 12 CD trunk mounted player hangs up occasionally. I usually just stop the car, turn the radio off. open the trunk and storage lid, slide the plastic cover on the player to the right and wait for the player to cycle and then pop up the magazine. Have done this several times.
Got "err" on the radio when switching from CD1 to CD2. Tried removing the 12 CD cassette as described above.
When you slide the plastic door to the right you get 3 sets of cycling noises not 12. Then NOTHING. Have tried this with the radio off and then tried it with the radio on.
When closing the door by sliding to the left get 3 sets of cycling noises and then NOTHING.
Now the radio does not say "err" it does NOTHING.
If I put a cassette in the radio it works fine.
Have another 12 CD player and would like to use it but would like to get the 12 CD cassette OUT OF THE ORIGINAL CD PLAYER.
How do I get the cassette with the 12 CDs OUT OF THE ORIGINAL PLAYER? Is there some hole you put a paper clip in like in a PC CD or DVD player? If not how do you get the loaded cassette out of the player?

I would imagine the only possible way is to remove it and disassemble it. I've had to do this on numerous cd players, computer optical drives and so on over many years. Never a simple and easy way. Had a single cd player in a BMW that had 4.5 discs jammed within. Yes, 4.5...I bought it used and discovered it didn't work and obvious why.

Default If you aren't a midget getting the left bracket screws is a piece of work

Removed the 6 screws that attach the CD player to the brackets. Took out 6 smaller screws holding the 2 removable covers. Found the white plastic arm that when pushed slightly forward will eject the cartridge.
The real fun part was putting the left screws holding the bracket to the player back in. The bottom one is almost impossible to thread. Worked blind with a socket and finally got the screw started. Taking the left bracket off with the 2 nuts and bolts seemed even worse so I decided to go for the screws from the player to the bracket.
The guts of this beast looks like something made for the space shuttle.
Unless you know exactly what you are doing you could screw it up royally.
I'm good mechanically but this beast is a jig saw puzzle.
Will try it out this week and see if it hangs again.
Thanks for the assistance to all.
