Mobil 1 ATF Transmission fluid
Subject - 2004 - 6 speed manual - base - transmission fluid change.
Lots of posts on this subject but still confused. Just one question, can Mobil 1 ATF Trans fluid be used in a 2004 C5 manual transmission ?? Any owners out there that have used Mobil 1 ATF for the fluid change.

You can use the Moble - 1 ATF or up grade to the Mobile -1 Synthetic ATF
I have the synthetic in my MN12 before I converted it to the TRANSZILLA T-60/60 and it worked very well. I used the synchromesh in the T-60-60

I wanted to use the Synchromax, but it was too expensive for me at the time ( I was doing a lot of stuff all at once). I ended up using the Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF in my 6 speed manual (Z06) - stuff works great.
