Default Rebuilding Headlight Aiming Adjustor Mechanism

Anybody ever rebuild one of the adjustor mechanisms? Mine are seized up and I can't find anything in the service manuals for how to open them up. Help is appreciated!

Lots and lots of penetrating oil, PB blaster works best.
And a lot of patiance slowly working the rods loose if you break one your SOL cause the adjusters anre not serviced seperatly.
GM only sells the entire headlamp assembly for around $750.00 ea.

Is the best method for applying the PB Blaster to spray little bits around the base of the golden rod? I just need to free my vertical adjusters.
